Welcome!
Dance has always been a huge and vital part of my life, my being. So when I first discovered The Nia Technique, and learned a language that allowed me to share my love of music and movement, I knew I had found my true path! My passion for sharing a dance fitness practice that makes space for conditioning and healing, for the primal and the sacred, the funky, feisty, and ferocious…well, that passion has only deepened, as I continue to witness the transformative power of music and dance in myself and my students. I believe in that power to deliver not only physical fitness (strength, mobility, flexibility), but mental stimulation, emotional resilience, and spiritual nourishment.
You may know by now that I am no longer affiliated with The Nia Technique, the organization. Although the practice continues to offer innumerable benefits to so many, Nia as a business model no longer aligns with my core values. And so having embodied what I believe are all the positive teachings, I continue to offer a mindful, exhilarating, and spirited movement experience: ME! Funky, fun-loving, soulful, silly, sexy…ME!
The form of the practice…
Conscious mindful movement teaches us optimal alignment and body awareness.
The gift of freedom…
Moving your body the way it was meant to move nurtures self-expression and creativity.
The magic of music…
A rich variety of sounds, rhythms, voices, provides the foundation…
The language of movement…
Our innate somatic wisdom guides us toward self-awareness, healing and conditioning.
With an almost infinite number of fitness offerings available these days, it is crucial to tap into those that best suit you. Self-care is always essential to our well-being; and never more than in these deeply troubled times.
Isn't life rich? We laugh. We cry. We play and we pray. We grieve. We celebrate...

If you know, you know…
The experience of being guided to move in healing & conditioning ways, sometimes freely, often with form; to music that is engaging, soothing, exhilarating, funky, primal… to witness in one’s self a small miracle of personal transformation during every class: physically looser, emotionally lighter, mentally clearer, spiritually freer.
